Mission Integration

Welcome to the
Office of Mission Integration

The Office of Mission Integration was initiated in 1997 by the president of the University of St. Francis.

A major purpose of the Office of Mission Integration is to explore the meaning of the university's mission statement as well as the values of this Franciscan university. In doing so, we seek to discuss the significance of the mission document as it opens up the spiritual and intellectual life of the institution to its members.

We wish to study the impact of the university's mission statement as those among us of other faith traditions assimilate the Franciscan heritage of this Catholic university.

The University of St. Francis Mission Statement sets forth the history, identity and the goals of the university. The heart of the document is about potential, the potential of this 78-year-old university. The mission philosophy beckons to the future. It provides a constant challenge to the university community to work as one for the integrity of a Catholic institution of higher education, moving into the 21st century.
