Craig Schimdt, founder of PCI, was a school administrator for twenty-three years. Additionally, he has dedicated more than fifteen years to studying the research on effective teaching. Craig believes that schools are (for the most part) only as good as the teachers in them.
Craig Schmidt has taught graduate courses in Arizona, Michigan, and Ohio. His focus has been in the areas of educational leadership, human relations, and the essence of quality teaching. Educators experiencing Craig's courses are amazed at how much they acquire which can be applied in their classrooms the very next day. Additionally, hundreds of principals have taken these classes to develop a better understanding what they are looking for while evaluating teachers. Former students describe this instructor as practical, humorous and inspirational. In Craig's words, his work is "more of a passion than a profession".
The University of St. Francis is happy to offer his teachings to educators in the Chicago area. Please visit www.pcinstitute.net to register.
