Marian Hall Resident Peer Minister – I wanted this role to gain the opportunity to strengthen the community in Marian Hall, under God. Often times, it is easy to get lost in the excitements of college life, school work, and new friendships. In all of this excitement, I want to be a reminder of faith by ministering to my peers and conducting faith based programs on campus.
I chose to get involved in University Ministry because I have seen the influence that Peer Ministers can have. I have been granted the opportunity to be a beacon of faith on my floor and I fully intend on upholding this standard throughout the school year. I believe that, together, University Ministry can continue to make a difference at this school by reminding students of their call to serve and respect one another.
I cannot help but to share my faith with others. My faith has shaped the way I live my life. Through words, actions, and prayers, I find myself spreading God’s Word subconsciously. The ability to influence lives through our own words and actions is an amazing gift that I believe must be used and cherished. The Holy Spirit has inspired all of University Ministry to openly live and share our faith.
