Hidden Saint. I wanted this role because my faith is the most important thing in my life and I love sharing it with others. Being among other students and sharing faith in conversation and in social situations brings people together. Although we all come from different paths and walks of life, we can come together through our love for Christ.
When I transferred to USF, I was welcomed with open arms, especially by a peer minister. She invited me to the Illumine retreat, where I met other peer ministers and members of University Ministry. It was beautiful to see a group of people like me come together to worship and share their faith. I chose to get involved with University Ministry because I experienced God’s love through the people and experiences I have had at St. Francis. I hope to help other students on campus become closer to Christ and also become more involved in the St. Francis community.
I have met many people on campus who are on fire for Christ and inspire me on my faith journey. These people help me live my faith in my own life and see God’s hand working in every day.
