Explore the art practices of cartooning, printmaking, drawing, collage, sculpture and painting through a variety of projects. Campers also are introduced to the foundations of art history by way of interactive learning projects.
The Art & Design Department offers summer arts camps for children and young adults. Class sizes are kept small giving every student the ideal opportunity to explore the visual arts in-depth.
The summer camps will run in July 2016 and 2017.
The summer art camps are designed to introduce K-6th grade students to the visual arts. In these camps, students are introduced to arts and crafts, drawing, painting and the history of the visual arts.
The department offers need-based scholarships for applicants. For further information on camps and scholarships, please contact the department at 815-740-6446.
