Exhibition Dates: December 7, 2012 through January 31, 2013

Reception and Portfolio Review: Saturday, January 26, 2013 from noon to 3 p.m.

Cash Awards: First Place – $250, Second Place -$150, Third Place(s) -$50

Art, Design, New Media, and Photography Scholarships: Scholarship awards will be
offered to high school seniors interested in pursuing studies in art education, graphic design, photography or studio art at USF. For additional information regarding scholarship opportunities, please contact Art & Design Department or Admissions at 815.740.3400.

Eligibility: All submitting artists must be attending high school during the 2012-13 academic year and be residents of Illinois.

Submissions: Each artist may submit one to five works. There is no entry fee, however, each artist must make arrangements for delivery and pick-up/shipping of all work. An official application form must

Submissions may be delivered or mailed to the attention of the University of St. Francis Art & Design
Department, 500 Wilcox Street, Joliet IL, 60435. An S.A.S.E. must accompany any work not hand delivered.

Submission Regulations: All media of art will be accepted for jurors’ review, including traditional (drawing, painting, sculpture etc.), digital, photography, and video art. Two-dimensional works must not exceed 50 inches (height) x 48 inches (width) x 3 inches (depth). Sculptural works must not exceed 5 feet (height) x 4 feet (width) x 3 feet (depth). All submissions must be “ready to hang” with appropriate picture wire and/or hardware.

Submission deadline: All artworks must be submitted or postmarked by Monday, December 3, 2012.

Submission Notification: All artists will be notified via e-mail of their submission status no later than Wednesday, December 7, 2012.

Pick-Up/Shipping Dates: All exhibiting student artists must arrange for the pick-up or shipping of their
work between Monday, February 11 and Friday, February 10, 2013. Contact the Art and Design
