Art & Design – Visual Arts Minor


Minor Program in Visual Arts (18 total hours)

This program in Visual Arts couples traditional and current approaches in art making practices. The student is introduced to a foundation core of drawing, paint, and sculpture. These areas are enhanced and supported by intermediate studies in contemporary art practices (e.g., installation, performance,video) and art theory. In addition, students performing at a defined level will be invited to do directed studies in a specific area by department faculty.
