The Comprehensive Project (TDEV690) is a four-credit-hour course that is taken after completion of 32 credit hours. It is a culminating self-directed experience for the student that draws together the learning that has occurred during the Training and Development program.
Throughout the Training and Development curriculum, students are given opportunities to connect what they are learning to real-life situations. The Comprehensive Project provides a capstone experience that continues to link academic theory to practical application in the work place.
The Comprehensive Project also provides an opportunity for career advancement by helping the student to establish new relationships in their own place of employment or in a new organization. It could also provide them with a chance to give back to their community with a service project. The Academic Advisor will assist in identifying an appropriate project and sponsor.
