Curriculum: Master of Science in Training and Development (MSTD)

As an Master of Science in Training and Development student, you will learn to:

  • Conduct and implement needs assessment for on-target instructional design
  • Design and measure adult learner performance outcomes
  • Determine program effectiveness to meet strategic goals
  • Select appropriate strategies to increase learner motivation
  • Practice effective communication for collaboration, negotiation and conflict management
  • Incorporate learning technologies and e-learning into your workplace
  • Understand ethical issues affecting continuing education and training
  • Choose a concentration in e-learning, human resource management, health administration, business administration, or management in training and development
