Curriculum – Majors and Minors

Music Program

Student in the music program at USF can choose from several majors depending on what is right for them. The Bachelor of Arts majors are geared toward students with general interest in music, music education or recording arts. The Bachelor of Music majors are oriented toward performance in piano or voice.

There are three BA undergraduate degree options in the USF Music program:

• Bachelor of Arts – Generalist in Music
• Bachelor of Arts – State Certification in Music Education
• Bachelor of Arts – Digital Audio Recording Arts (DARA)

There is one BM undergraduate degree in the USF Music program:

• Bachelor of Music – Music Performance

There are two minor options in the USF Music program:

• Music
• Digital Audio Recording Arts (DARA)
