What can I do with a Political Science degree?

In USF’s Political Science program, students take their first steps toward careers in law, business management, consulting, journalism, teaching, law enforcement, international business and government service.

This liberal, career-oriented education also is a great stepping off point for graduate study. Many of our students have earned law degrees from notable universities such as the University of Notre Dame, the University of Chicago, Loyola University and DePaul University.

USF Political Science students have completed internships at the White House, with members of the U.S. Congress and in the U.S. Customs Service. They also have worked with state and local governmental law enforcement agencies and with lawyers in both the criminal and civil areas.

The Political Science program places nearly all of its students in jobs, graduate school or in other educational avenues, upon graduation
