Transportation

The USF Shuttle provides free service from the main USF campus to the Rialto/City Center Campus in downtown Joliet. The shuttle picks up passengers outside the Moser Performing Arts Center at the main campus. Shuttle times run every 20 minutes, starting on the hour from 7:00 AM until 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Access to Chase and Harris Banks as well as the Metra train station are available via this service.

The bus stop is located only two minutes from campus, with a five minute trip to Downtown Joliet.

Bus #501 takes you to Wal-Mart, Starbucks, McDonalds, Jewel, Bank of America, Applebee’s, Pizza Hut, Panda Express, Inwood – indoor sports facilities (free access to USF students), Social Security Office, Bowling, etc.

Bus #505 takes you to Provena St. Joseph Hospital, Wal-mart, Starbucks, etc.

Bus #507 takes you to Downtown Joliet, main bus station, Supercuts, TJ Max, McDonalds, Food for Less, Movie Theatre, Joliet Mall (Many stores including Express, American Eagle, JC Penny’s, Macys, etc), Best Buy, Verizon Wireless, etc.

METRA TRAIN SYSTEM offers transportation from Joliet to Chicago. Students have easy access to Joliet Union Station to catch the train that is going to Chicago – one of the largest cities in the United States. Monthly and weekend passes are available, making the trip to Downtown Chicago more affordable. The train station, located in Downtown Joliet, is only five minutes driving distance from the campus.
