Information & Administrative Services (IAS)

Information and Administrative Services (IAS) is a department within the Academic and Information Support Services division. We are responsible for supporting the core, mission critical administrative computing functions of the university including:

USF's administrative computing platform consists of the SunGard Banner Suite of administrative applications, and our enterprise portal (MyUSF) is based on the uPortal product.

The Director of Information and Administrative Services leads a staff comprised of professionals with experience in application development, program support, database administration, systems administration and project management. We strive to provide the following services in supporting USF's administrative applications:

The Administrative Computing department works closely with Network Support Services, University Web Services, and the Center for Instructional Delivery to integrate the Administrative applications into the overall technical architecture of the university.
