Network Support Services (NSS)
The department of Network Support
Services is responsible for the maintenance and support of the network/telecommunications
infrastructure. This includes all network/telecommunications hardware including
the wiring infrastructure, network backbone equipment, network file servers,
printers, workstations and office telephone equipment.
This area is also responsible for
the physical acquisition of new hardware and software. The Network Support
Services Department provides front line end user support in network services,
such as, printing, office productivity applications, academic software
solutions, hardware maintenance and troubleshooting.
