Mission of the College of Education Alumni Network (EAN)

The purpose of the College of Education (COE) Alumni Network at the University of St. Francis (USF) is to connect educators who are committed to a Franciscan spirit of service and dedicated to building, promoting, and supporting educational opportunities at all levels. The network is designed to serve the evolving needs of USF COE alumni and encourage collegial interaction among alumni, current candidates, and the COE.

A key component in an educator’s professional responsibilities is his/her involvement in professional organizations. EAN provides a perfect opportunity to become involved with such an organization and to even distinguish oneself by taking on a leadership role for the board as we plan professional development, service, and social events each year.

Valentine Bingo Party– Alumni Service Day*
The Education Alumni Network (EAN) is hosting a Valentine’s party at Sunny Hill Nursing Home in Joliet. Alumni will get to mingle and play Bingo with the residents. It’s a great day to make a new friend!

Will County Regional Office of Education Licensure Seminar*
Sponsored by the Education Alumni Network. The Will County Regional Office of Education staff will provide a seminar with the most current rules and regulations regarding licensure renewal with a special focus on endorsements. A light dinner will be served.
Thursday, March 3 | 5 – 7 p.m. | St. Albert’s Hall, A112

READ 2016 Conference for Educators
Presented by the College of Education, this mini conference includes breakfast, professional development hours (PDHs), keynote presentation, and choice of four workshops.
Saturday, March 12 | 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. | Sexton Auditorium
$30 per attendee
