Girten, Janet (1986) BS, Biology is the newest member of the senior management team for the state of Colorado as the Assistant Director of Forensic Services. In that capacity, she is accountable for all work performed and the staff members of four laboratories. Each facility is responsible for collection and preservation of evidence at the crime scene and the subsequent analysis fo that evidence.

Langebartels, Jeanette P. (1979) BS, Heath Arts has retired after 35 years of nursing. She now volunteers in the community at places such as the Morris Hospital, Will-Grundy Clinic and Rialto Square Theatre.

Baxter, M. Darlene (1992) BS, Heath Services Admin serves as Vice president of Affiliate Services at Maury Regional Medical Center. She served 25 years in the Maury Regional Health Care system and recently retired. She served as head of Maury Regional Healthcare Foundation. She was instrumental in Mary Regional Hospital being the first employer in the county to provide childcare services and worked on the development of the hospital into a healthcare system. Ms. Baxter was involved in the operations of the Lewis Ambulatory Care Center, Wayne Medical Center and Marshall Medical Center. She represented Maury Regional Hospital during General Motors’ transition to Spring Hill. Ms. Baxter has been a Director of First Farmers and Merchants Bank and Corporation since 2007.

Darley, Rebecca (2001) BS, Nursing was presented with the President’s Appreciation Award for Community Service at the January 15, 2011 commencement exercises. This award is given to individuals who make a significant impact on Joliet and the USF community by sharing their time and talents.

Williams, Regena (2002) BBA, Accounting is engaged to be married in October 2011.

Monson, Jennifer L. (2003) BS, Professional Arts is married with four children and owns a small massage therapy business.

Lundeen Baranoski, Carissa (2004, 2006) BS, Biology and Mass Communications is a chiropractic physician and Medical Director of Complementary Medicine at the National Center for Integrative Medicine. She was recently recognized by the National University of Health Sciences Student American Chiropractic Association Chapter for being an outstanding legislative advocate for patient and doctor rights.

Tondini, Dacia (2009)BS, Special Education is engaged to marry Misael Cobarrubias on September 3, 2011.

Rojek, Carrie (2007)BS, Recreation Administration is the new Soccer Program Executive at the YMCA of Columbia. Carrie is very excited and focused on creating a successful partnership with the Soccer community at the University of South Carolina.

Zitko, Christopher (2008) BS, Visual Arts and Petrella, Laurica (2008) BS, Biology are happily planning their wedding.
