Students whose disabilities require academic support can find appropriate resources in the Academic Resource Center.  Any student who requires special accommodations due to a disability should first contact Judy Mika, the Coordinator for Students with Disabilities, located in Room L214 (second floor of the library), at (815) 740-3204 or (815) 740-5060 or ODS@stfrancis.edu

ARC provides the following assistance for students whose disabilities require these supports:

• Proctored tests for special, alternative or extended-time testing situations
• Voice recognition computer software
• Talking word processor
• Software that scans material and reads aloud
• Consultation on learning strategies that compensate for the disability
