Athletic Alumni Advisory Board - Overview

  1. Mission
    • To assist the St. Francis Athletic Department to serve our current student-athletes and our athletic alumni in the best manner possible.
  2. Objectives
    • To continuously study how we can reconnect athletic alumni with our university and with each other.
    • To serve our athletic alumni with continuing education opportunities like the Covey seminar on The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People.
    • To explore venues to serve our graduating seniors and our athletic alumni in the job market.
    • To assist with fundraising events that can enable St. Francis athletic administrators to better serve current student-athletes.
    • To continuously study ways that our athletic alumni can serve our entire university and all other alumni.
    • To have representation on the USF Alumni Board.
  3. Responsibilities of Board Members
    • To attend the three meetings the advisory board will hold annually- October, April, and July.
    • To assist in the three annual fundraisers that the athletic program sponsors:
      • Saints Club Phonathon
      • Brown and Gold
      • USF Golf Outing
    • To try to attend as many of the Athletic Alumni sponsored events as time permits.
  4. Number of Board Members
    • The athletic department would like to have 15 members serving on this board.
  5. Years of Service
    • Each appointment will be for a three year period, renewable by mutual consent of the board member and the athletic department.
