REDMAN VOTED AS CCAC
PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Freshman
shortstop Jamie Redman (Lincoln-Way
Central H.S./New Lenox, IL) of the
University of St. Francis softball team
was voted as the Chicagoland Collegiate
Athletic Conference Player of the Week
for the seven-day period ending Sunday
(May 1).
Redman
batted .476 (10-for-21) with a .952
slugging percentage, six RBIs and five
runs scored in six games. Included in
those hitting totals were two home runs,
two doubles and one triple.
Redman,
who hit safely in each of the last five
games, had three hits in both ends of
a doubleheader against Cardinal Stritch
University, WI (April 26) en route to
finishing 6-for-8 at the plate with
five RBIs and four runs scored in the
twinbill.
USF
went 2-4 during the week.
For
the season, Redman leads the
Lady Saints in hits (68), runs scored
(41) and stolen bases (13), while ranking
second on the team in batting average
(.402), doubles (10), home runs (6),
slugging percentage (.604) and on-base
percentage (.427).
