AMBROSCH NAMED CHICAGOLAND COLLEGIATE ATHLETIC CONFERENCE LIBERO OF THE WEEK

JOLIET, Ill. --- Junior libero Courtney Ambrosch (Joliet Township H.S./Joliet, IL) has picked up her second Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Libero of the Week award for the 2007 season.

Ambrosch, who was also honored back on the week ending Sept. 8, led St. Francis to a 3-2 week which wrapped up with three wins in four outings at USF’s own Big Guns Classic this past weekend.

Ambrosch averaged 4.11 digs per game and had a .938 serve reception percentage.

Ambrosch's 29 digs in the 5-game loss to Illinois Springfield marked her second-highest effort of her career. She returned to full-time play at the libero position starting with the Webber International match after coming back from a concussion.
