AMBROSCH, KLEIN EARN CHICAGOLAND COLLEGIATE
ATHLETIC CONFERENCE AWARDS AGAIN

JOLIET, Ill. --- Junior libero Courtney Ambrosch (Joliet Township H.S./Joliet, IL) and senior outside hitter Lisa Klein (Hall H.S./Ladd, IL) have been named the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Libero and Player of the Week for the week ending Nov. 10.
Ambrosch, who was also honored back on the weeks ending Sept. 8, Oct. 20 and Nov. 6, averaged 5.17 digs per game as St. Francis played its way to a second-place finish in the CCAC Championship Tournament. She posted a week-high 25 digs in the Lady Saints’ four-game loss to Olivet Nazarene in the title match on Saturday night at the USF Rec Center.
Klein, now a six-time winner of the CCAC POW honor, averaged 4.83 kills per game in USF three matches in the tourney, which included wins at home over Trinity International and Trinity Christian and the loss to Olivet Nazarene. All three matches went four games. Klein’s highest output of the week was a 24-kill effort against Olivet.
