EARNS SCHOLAR-ATHLETE HONOR

University
of St. Francis junior golfer Andrea Prola (Joliet
Township HS/Joliet, IL) has been named to
the Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete team.
The
national recognition is awarded to student-athletes
who are in their junior or senior years of study
and have also compiled a minimum of a 3.50 grade
point average. They also must meet certain statistical
requirements that vary with each sport.
Prola,
the Lady Saints' No. 1 golfer this past season,
owns a perfect 4.0 GPA and is majoring in special
education. In addition to her successes on the
golf course and in the classroom, Prola
also has served as an officer on the Student/Athlete
Advisory Committee at USF.
