COURSE DESCRIPTION:
            International Business issues examined include how the world’s countries differ, the functions and forms of the global monetary system as well as international management and marketing strategies and trade alliances. 
Student Objective:  To gain an understanding of the global marketplace and the strategies and structures of international business.

EXPECTATIONS OF STUDENTS:

ATTENDANCE:   Class participation grade depends on active participation in the class
                                 Discussions.  Some assigned discussion will also be used to
                                 determine 50 of the participation points.

EXAMS:                The format of the exams will be discussed in class.  Any exams
                                missed on the assigned exam days must be made up on the very
                                next class meeting and must have prior approval.  The exams dates
                                could be changed if the class needs additional time to master
                                the material.  A week’s notice is given in class as to exact date.

Webct:                    Check calendar as to due date and available date of 5 quizzes.

Homework/projects: Projects will be assigned.  Due dates will be announced and late
                                  homework will have 5 points deducted for each date and cannot be
                                  accepted once returned to class.
