Capital Campaign

The $8 million capital campaign, the largest in USF history, will support the following initiatives as we Continue the Tradition and Live Our Mission:

Endowment ($2 million)

Scholarships for need-, merit- and program-based at undergraduate and graduate levels

Programs ($2 million)

Center for International Studies; Service Learning Resource Center; Center for Innovation; Program Planning for Innovative Natural and Health Science Building; Science and Environmental Education Academy; Visiting Scholars and Artists in Residence; Arts & Design Programming; and Speaker Series

Facilities ($4 million)

Motherhouse Renovation, Tower Hall Renovation, Campus Beautification/Parking, Rialto/City Center Art Gallery and Alumni Center

Capital Campaign Chairpersons

Robert and Patricia Wheeler ‘67
Robert and Patricia are community leaders. Patricia, a 1967 alumna of the university, is a retired educator. She is currently a member of the Alumni Association Board and a trustee. Robert is an associate director at a Chicago seminary.

Honorary Chairpersons

LaVerne and Dorothy Brown
LaVerne and Dorothy Brown are community leaders. LaVerne “Bitz” Brown is a trustee emeritus for the university. He was awarded the President’s Medal, the highest honor given at the university. He and Dorothy served several times as chairs of Caritas.
