How to become a USF
Student Worker
All new student workers must complete the I-9 and federal and state withholding forms, in addition to providing copies of his/her driver's license and social security card. This information must be completed before receiving a paycheck.
At the beginning of the school year all jobs are only open to students participating in the work study program. After 30 days, jobs are open to all students.
Timesheet Information:
- Both the supervisor and the student employees need to review the timesheets prior to submitting for payroll.
- Timesheets need to clearly indicate department and account number.
- The signature of both the student and the supervisor must appear on the timesheet.
- Timesheets must delivered to the HR Department (Room S202) no later than 4:30p on the end of thepayroll week. For those students who work over the weekend or at night a second deadline of Monday by 12n is acceptable. NOTE: These dates/times can change due to holidays or other circumstances. A payroll check can not be guaranteed if the timesheets are submitted after this deadline.
- Timesheets not received in our office by noon Monday will be processed the next pay period.
- Timesheets may be delivered in person by the department supervisor, or in a sealed envelope signed by the supervisor if hand carried by the student.
