Scholarship of Pedagogy Symposium

Keynote speaker: Dr. Craig E. Nelson, Professor of Biology, Indiana University

Dr. Nelson, the recipient of numerous excellence in teaching awards, has published in the areas of critical thinking, diversity and college teaching, active learning, and the nature of science and evolution. He is also well known for his entertaining and instructive Chautauqua Short Courses. His symposium presentation is "How we defeat ourselves: Dysfunctional illusions of rigor."
