1. Click here to enter the budget development program. Enter your banner username & password, then click on OK.

2. The main budget screen will show your budget amounts by fiscal year.

3. To only show the budget total for non-personnel items, choose Y from the drop-down menu highlighted below, and click on the Refresh button highlighted below.

4. To limit the # of levels displayed, choose a different # from the drop-down menu highlighted below, and click on the Refresh button highlighted below.

5. To view the budget detail click on your organization name & number, which is shown in blue in the Organization column below.

6. You can now add the new amounts in the FY07 Requested Budget column for the account # of your choice, by typing in the new amount in that field.
Note: You can not leave the budget for any account blank. You must enter 0 if you have no budget for a certain account.

7. If you see the words "Inactive Expense" in the FY07 Requested Budget column for a an account, this means you have no money budgeted towards that account. If you would like to budget money into that account, then you will need to click on the Add Account button highlighted below.
Note: If you do not see an account listed that you would like to budget money for in FY07, then you will also need to click on the Add Account button highlighted below. You will only be able to edit budgets for account 6190 & 7000 account line items, any other account buget changes will need to be coordinated with the Business Office.

8. Select the accounts you would like included into your budget, by scrolling down through the list of accounts.

9. Select the account you would like to include in your FY07 Budget by clicking in the box to the left of the account #.

10. Finish scrolling down to the bottom of the list, and click on the Add Selected Accounts button highlighted below.

11. You can now add an amount to the account (Inactive Expense) you chose in the previous steps. Click on the Save Changes button highlighted below, to save the amounts you have entered for FY07.
Note: If you manage more than one organization, then you will need to click on the Return to Org Summary button below. You should then start back at step #2 to create your FY07 budget.

12. To delete a budget for an account, click in the box in the Delete column next to the account you no longer need a budget for, then click on the Save Changes button highlighted below.
