Windows Users:
The first time you access Banner, you may be prompted to install a new version of Oracle JInitiator, an Internet plug-in needed to run Banner (Internet Native Banner). This plug-in will need to be installed on each computer that is used to access Banner.
1. Click Yes to begin the installing of the Oracle JInitiator.
2. Click Next to finish installing files.
3. Click OK.
Macintosh Users:
If you are using a Mac, you should not need to install the plug-in – you may receive a message asking if you want to grant access to Java and just need to click on Always Grant to this message.
Note: It is recommended that you use Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or greater to access Banner as this is the only browser certified to run Oracle Forms. You may experience errors if using another browser.
