Adding Text to Your Pages |
 |
- In the Composer window, click to place the insertion point on the page, and start typing.

You can also add horizontal lines to divide the space on your page.
-
Click the location in the Composer window where you want to insert the line.
- Under the Insert menu, select Horizontal Line.

- Double click the line to change its size or style. The Horizontal Line Info dialog box will appear.

- Choose from the following options (many of these dialog boxes work much the same way):
- Change the height or width of the line by typing a number in the appropriate text box. Width can be expressed in either % (percent of the window) or pixels (the dots that make up pictures on the computer monitor). Choose one of these options from the drop-down menu.
- Turn 3-D Shading on or off by selecting or deselecting the checkbox.
- Change the alignment (left, right, or center) of the line by clicking a radio button in the Alignment area of the dialog box.
- When you're done, click OK to close the Horizontal Line Info dialog box and return to the Composer window.
