Applied Organizational Management

Jennifer Davidson
As Director of the Bachelor of Science in Applied Organizational Management (AOM) program, I am pleased to welcome you to the program and to the University of St. Francis.
The AOM program is an accelerated adult degree completion program within the College of Business. Business and industry leaders in all management areas will benefit from the strong combination of applied knowledge and practical experience found in the AOM curriculum. The goal of the AOM degree is to prepare you to meet the challenges and demands you face as a manager. As an AOM student, you are able to apply concepts from the classroom immediately to your job to help you manage everyday work situations and problems. The AOM program can be completed all at a distance using online courses.
The AOM program meets needs of adult students who are interested in organizational management, non-profit management, service management and human resource management. The AOM program also provides a solid foundation for the Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree and offers students the opportunity to step into MBA classes as part of their undergraduate curriculum. AOM graduates are able to employ a variety of effective management strategies with respect to communication, organizational change, organizational behavior, personnel management, supervisory management, facilities management, service management and strategic business management.
I serve as the main academic advisor for currently enrolled students in the AOM program. I am here to assist you in any way I can so please feel free to contact me if you have questions, concerns, or comments. I hope you enjoy the program and I look forward to helping you succeed!
