Delta Mu Delta International Honor Society

Delta Mu Delta is a national honor society in Business Administration with a growing membership of nearly 150,000 undergraduates, graduates, doctorates and alumni. The members may be found in over 200 chapters in public and private colleges and university campuses across the United States and Europe.
Delta Mu Delta came into being for the recognition of Business Administration students who have distinguished themselves scholastically. The coveted membership also means that the student has good character and the unmistakable leadership potential for a socially useful and satisfying career of service.
The Delta Kappa Chapter of Delta Mu Delta was chartered at the University of St. Francis on April 7, 1984 by Professor A.J. Foranoce, National President of Delta Mu Delta. Charter membership is accorded students who are registered in business programs. These students must be:
Undergraduate:
- candidates for the Baccalaureate degree;
- have completed at least half the work required for the degree;
- have a cumulative average of 3.25 or better;
- be in the top 20% of their class.
Graduate:
- Candidate for masters in business (MSM or MBA)
- Have completed at least half the work required for degree
- Have a cumulative GPA of 3.6 or better
- Be in the top 20% of their class
Each year, the national organization awards scholarships to student applicants in a program of competition based on scholarship, leadership, character, motivation, need and potential. Nationally, forty-seven scholarships and recognitions are awarded annually. To date, 28 of St. Francis students have won these scholarships for a total amount of $17,300. Our local chapter Delta Kappa has awared $1000. to USF Students
