As
the result of receiving more than $1 million in
grants over the past two years, the College
of Nursing and Allied Health offers one of the
most sophisticated nursing skills simulation
laboratories in the Midwest as well as programming
to help ease the critical shortages of
nurses and nurse educators. The nursing program
also addresses wellness and care for the
fastest growing population in the United States:
the older adult. USF is one of the first to
offer expanded geriatrics care within its BSN
and MSN curriculums.
The university and College of Nursing and Allied
Health celebrates its partnerships with
more than 133 health care organizations. About
500 students are enrolled in College of
Nursing and Allied Health programs, including
61 at its Albuquerque, N.M. center.
The College of Nursing and Allied Health is proud
of its 2,840 alumni.
