Learning Object Development Process

  1. Instructor determines the course objective or content that is difficult for learners to understand.
  2. Instructor intiates contact with Instructional Designer, using one of the links at right.
  3. Instructor meets with the Instructional Designer to determine the type of learning object that is to be developed.
  4. Instructor provides content to the Instructional Designer.
  5. Instructional Designer adapts the content for web delivery and builds the learning object.
  6. Instructor and Instructional Designer review and evaluate the learning object.
  7. The learning object is posted for delivery to learners.

I want to learn more about how I can locate and use existing learning objects.

I want to create my own customized learning object.
