Jessica Jannusch
J.J.In order to describe Jessica Jannusch, the infamous Gunnink had this to say:
"Goddess of Theatre and queen of all she surveys, it would be fair to say that Jessica is probably more important than Jesus. Majoring in Pre-Med and English, she strives to be a Renaissance Woman (knowing full well that such a thing is somewhat anachronistic) and embraces iconoclasm to crush all the superficial idiosyncrasies of culture under her stiletto-heeled boot like a cigarette butt.
Though she shares extremely similar genetic code with her sister Katherine, Jessica has forged her own unique identity, a mix of cabaret, Parliament Funkadelic, Hobbesian material monism, extremely chocolate milk, geekhood of a musical and intellectual sort, and an icy sort of warmth that endears her to all but the stoniest of humorless people.
Although flattering, Jessica Jannusch is really a subject to be studied only by the mental giants of the world. She started her intellectual pursuits early, having read the entire Encyclopedia Britannica by the tender age of 4 months. Since then, she has written every volume of her own encyclopedia (with the small exception of the letter M) titled Encyclopedia Jessicus Maximus.
Jessica Jannusch has also become an icon on the stage and in the laboratory, as well as a candidate for the Nobel Prize in Literature and in Medicine. What the future holds for such an enigmatic and brilliant creature, one can only speculate. It is known, however, that Miss Jannusch has just finished two films dealing with the struggles of being young and single in New York City, as well as signing her first book deal. This summer Jessica Jannusch can be found on Broadway, starring as Eva Peron in Andrew Lloyd Weber’s Evita.
