Linnea Knapp

Linnea Knapp is the Archives Librarian at the University of St. Francis and joined the staff in January 2008. She is responsible for providing organization and access to the University's rich historical records and special collections. Linnea is the first Archivist at USF and is enjoying the challenge of creating and sustaining an official archives program.

Originally from Michigan, Linnea received her Bachelors Degree in Business Management from Michigan State University and her Masters in Library and Information Science with an Archival Administration Certificate from Wayne State University. She relocated to Illinois to join the USF family.

When not sorting through historical documents and rare books she can be found watching British television or movies, the SyFy Channel, and HGTV or reading Agatha Christie mysteries, young adult novels, and "classic" books.
