The objectives of the continuing education and training certificate, depending on courses selected, are as follows:
- To develop leadership skills in the needs analysis, planning, and delivery of continuing education and training programs.
- To develop an understanding of the unique educational and training needs of adults.
- To gain knowledge of the various providers of continuing education and training and how they can interact to form alliances.
- To provide opportunities to further the field of continuing education and training through research and critical thinking.
- To provide an ethical and humanistic basis for the education and training of adults.
Management of Training and Development Certificate: (16 credit hours. All are required.)
