PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Students in the University of St. Francis Computer Science program can choose from four exciting majors. One focuses on networking, another on programming and databases, a third on the internet and the fourth on scientific programming. Wherever your interest lies - we have a fit.USF is the right place for students to receive hands-on experience working on the most up-to-date operating systems, languages and software. Students have 24-hour on-campus access to the USF Novell computing system, which is used for all programming courses. The latest in programming equipment and methodologies are available at USF. Many of our courses are offered online, making it easy to merge coursework with other responsibilities.

Keeping pace with the latest technology is one of the keys behind the high-quality faculty in the Computer Science program at USF. INTERNSHIPS & COMMUNITY SERVICE
USF Computer Science students gain invaluable experience through internships and cooperative education opportunities at many prominent Chicagoland companies like Argonne National Laboratory, EJ&E Railway Co., Amoco and Caterpillar.
