Mission Statement
The computer science department will educate students who will go forth and renew society in wisdom, justice and charity. We will prepare our graduates to readily adapt to the changing industry and to make contributions to the evolution of technology. We strive to send forth graduates who will be ethical, reasonable and honorable in their professional and personal lives.
In addition, we strive:
- To prepare men and women for careers in the computer science industry
- To promote disciplined study within the investigation and mastery of the body of knowledge, that is computer science
- To provide the ultimate forum for analyzing and synthesizing information
