Biography

Ms. Weldon worked in the corporate world supporting a variety of computer systems from mainframes to LANs for 28 years. Being married with a grown child, she recently decided it was a good time to leave the corporate environment and teach full-time. Her corporate experience includes a variety of industries, including banking, insurance, manufacturing, retail, consulting, and online publishing.

She is currently a member of AAUW (American Association of University Women) and has served on the board for the AAUW-Illinois for the past three years. Ms. Weldon also edits the state newsletter with a circulation of over 3000.

Her primary teaching responsibilities include: Database Technologies, Networking, Programming, Introductory Courses, Systems Analysis, and Survey Courses .

Interests

Outside of the computer world, her interests include theatre and photography
