1. Sponsor students in Pakistan or Afghanistan. Join students who are raising money for Greg Mortenson's organization, Central Asia Institute, and participate in one of many different projects: raffle and karaoke events, working with local schools on Pennies for Peace initiatives, etc.- Contact Dr. J if interested--call 740-3603 or e-mail him.
2. Books for Bolivia Project. Ms. Ingrid Goobar-Szleifer coordinating. Need for:
- volunteers to distribute order forms in the faculty mailboxes, for the books in Spanish to be taken to Bolivia by the students who make the trip at the end of the school year.
