She has done a sterling job of in every one of the positions, but her love has always been teaching the second grade. She has taught literally hundreds of St. Paul's Second Grade students, preparing them for the sacraments of Reconciliation and First Communion. Every student that ever passed her doors was guided, loved, and prepared for the third grade.

Married to Ron Hostert, Sharon is a graduate of Joliet Township High School, East Campus and the College of St. Francis, now the University of St. Francis. She worked as a teacher's aide in Troy Community School District before taking on the position of Second Grade Teacher at St. Paul the Apostle. During her time at St. Paul's she has mentored many student teachers, and provided a positive role model for those interested in the education profession. Sharon is the epitome of "Teacher", as she teaches and lives as Jesus did.
