Adjunct Faculty Positions
The University of St. Francis, a Catholic, Franciscan institution seeks adjunct faculty for fall, 2006 and beyond. The university serves more than 4,300 students nationwide, including 1,800 at its Joliet , IL campus. USF is located about 35 miles southwest of Chicago in a residential neighborhood. For all positions a terminal degree is preferred, masters degree required, as well as a willingness to respect the Catholic and Franciscan values of the university. Positions are on-site at the Joliet campus unless otherwise noted.
College of Arts & Sciences
- ENGLISH: Freshman Composition, Introduction to Literature
- LANGUAGES: Spanish, Italian and German (beginning levels)
- PSYCHOLOGY: General Psychology
- RECREATION, SPORT & TOURISM MGMT: Foundations of Therapeutic Recreation
College of Education
- Science & Social Studies Methods, General Elementary & Secondary Methods, Special Education, Reading Diagnostics, Methods of Educational Research, Instructional Technology, and Educational Psychology. Requires Masters or higher in elementary, middle school or secondary education and/or specializations in reading or special education.
College of Nursing & Allied Health
- CLINICAL INSTRUCTOR: Medical-Surgical, Community Health, and Psychiatric Nursing. Requires Master's degree (doctorate preferred) Illinois RN license, and clinical experience.
- RN-BSN FAST-TRACK: Teach online nursing to RN degree completion students in eight-week modules; and will orient faculty in the use of WebCT.
College of Professional Studies
- HEALTH SERVICES ADMIN: Professional experience in health care. Joliet , Chicago area and central IL locations, 13 national locations, and online courses.
- HEALTH CARE LEADERSHIP and ORGANIZATIONAL LEADERSHIP: General leadership or health care experience. Chicago area sites and online courses.
