           Welcome to The Great Gatsby website.  The Great Gatsby is a highly acclaimed novel                                            by the great American author F. Scott Fitzgerald.  Set during the 1920s – a time that         Fitzgerald coined as “The Jazz Age” – the book outlines the realities of a corrupted                                           American dream.  Within its pages, there are many external realities.  It partially outlines         Fitzgerald's life, talks of prohibition, music, and women, has closely related settings,                                           vibrant characters, and is rich in symbolism.  Within this site, you will find information on         the above topics, including additional links to Internet sites relating to The Great Gatsby.
