Center for the Study of Contemporary Ethics
Founded
in 1993, the Center for the Study of Contemporary
Ethics at the University of St. Francis promotes
the study of and commitment to ethics in the business
environment.
The
Center for the Study of Contemporary Ethics at
the University of St. Francis was generously funded
by LaVerne "Bitz" Brown of New Lenox,
John D'Arcy of Plainfield, Jack Gosselin of Joliet,
William Hansen of Naperville, Pat Ruth of Joliet
and the late Patrick "Packey" Webb of
Glen Ellyn.
The Center for the Study of Contemporary Ethics offers two programs each academic year, and utilizes the expertise of professionals and academicians from throughout the country in considering issues such as Ethics in Everyday Business; Business, Faith and Economics; and The Culture of Health Care: End of Life Issues.
