Special Thanks!
Thank you to NASA astronaut Dr. Fritz Hasler for his eye-catching presentation, “Looking at Earth from Space: An Hour of Spectacular Visualization”. Around 550 forth and fifth grade students from local elementary schools attended the event.  Dr. Hasler's presentation focused on Earth and beyond.  He showed pictures of Earth from space using multiple NASA satellites. Dr. Hasler wove the pictures around the preciousness of Earth and how we need to care for it.  He also explained how unique Earth is as a planet because of the living plants and animals. Additional thanks to The University of St. Francis and Remco Medical for sponsoring the event and Regina Block for providing this wonderful opportunity.
