Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT): A good site for all things Thai. They give you a broad history, but it is brief and flows easily from one era to the next; good for placing different art and architecture styles and similar things into a timeline. Again, emphasis is placed on the Thai culture- there is even a guide to Thai fruit-but this is still another good site to start at. Muang Boran - Ancient City - Thailand: A very nice- and very historical- website. It has pictures of, and information about, a city that was created imitating ancient methods of Thai architecure. The page implies that the city was created almost in protest to the Westernization of Thailand. Interesting, and also pretty to look at.

Bangkok Post: A Thai newspaper, but in English. A great introduction to Thai culture. It is sad to see, that, as mentioned above, American culture is being taken to extremes in Thailand, and this is apparent in this newspaper.

Guide to Thai Information on the Internet: Exactly what I am trying to achieve. Hopefully my site will become just as accessible as this one.
WWWVL - Thailand: I thought that this would be a larger site- even Sri Lanka has a bigger one than this! Still, it is a great comprehensive source for modern issues and travel information.
