Health and Wellness Center
The University of St. Francis Health and Wellness Center is a primary care clinic that is managed by advanced practice nurses on the faculty of the university’s College of Nursing and Allied Health. It is the first nurse-managed clinic in Will County .
The Health and Wellness Center treats the whole person – not just the disease or your symptoms. Our philosophy of shared decision-making puts YOU at the very center of a team dedicated to improving health through the latest approaches to holistic health care and healing. This means:
- Open access hours each day for unscheduled appointments
- Listening to your concerns and giving you clear explanations of treatments
- Working closely with you to develop a personalized plan of care
- Providing direct linkages to social services
- Following through to make sure your plan of care is meeting your needs
Groundwork Domestic Violence Shelter of Guardian Angel Community Services
The Health and Wellness Center is dedicated to treating victims of domestic violence and
offers services at the Groundwork Domestic Violence Shelter.
Operations at Groundwork have generously been supported by a $10,000 contribution by the Kiwanis Club of Joliet .
The Health and Wellness Center provides services to the residences of the Lamb’s Fold Women’s Center.
