Academic Search Elite. Indexes journal
articles in the social sciences, humanities,
general sciences and education. Nearly 8200
journals are indexed and over 4600 of those
include the full text.
ProQuest:
1985-Present
Use this database to find information on general
topics in the sciences, social sciences,
and humanities as well as news about companies
and current events. Some full-text
and graphics are available.
Wilson
Select Plus (FirstSearch): 1993-Present
Search over 1,500 periodical abstracts and full-text
articles from the following
Wilson databases: Readers' Guide Abstracts,
Social Sciences Abstracts, Humanities
Abstracts, General Science Abstracts and Wilson
Business Abstracts.
Expanded
Academic ASAP: 1995-Present
This first database listed in InfoTrac indexes
information on astronomy,
religion, law, history, psychology, humanities,
current events, sociology, communications,
and general sciences. Some full-text is available.
Updated daily. For
an upgraded version of this database, use InfoTrac
OneFile.

A collection of links to more information from the American Anthropological Association.
To locate books about cultural anthropology available at the USF Library use Illinet, the library's online catalog. Click on Browse Subject and type anthropology as a search term. Distance students may request any title from the library's general collection to be sent to them by using the library's interlibrary loan service. Books available from any of the other libraries that share the Illinet Online catalog, students may request directly through the online catalog using their library barcode. These items will be shipped to distance students (students are responsible for return postage). Distance students may also want to explore the collections at their local libraries.
