Library
New Service!
April 23, 2008
The USF Library's Circulation Department is pleased to announce that students will now receive library notices via email rather than through the postal or campus mail. Overdue notices will provide information about books that need to be returned. Item available and item cancellation notices for I-Share requests will also come via email. We are also pleased to now be able to offer courtesy notices, which will notify borrowers when their items are coming due soon.
All emailed notices will be sent to USF email addresses.
Fines / fees statements will continue to be generated in print and mailed through the USPS or campus mail until further notice. Configuration of faculty and staff email notifications is underway with a completion date of no later than May 15 expected. This new service will not only help the library save tremendously on paper, printing and postage, but also provide more efficient communication with library users.
