ILLiad - New for Interlibrary Loan Requests (Please Read)

All interlibrary loan requests will be handled through a new library system known as ILLiad. Through ILLiad, users will be able to initiate and track their ILL requests online from any convenient computer via the Library Webpage. These requests will be automatically routed to the Interlibrary Loan Department, where they will be processed and managed.

Why ILLiad? OCLC ILLiad Resource Sharing Management Software is a tool that automates interlibrary functions, increasing productivity while at the same time reducing paperwork. Through ILLiad, library staff can manage all of USF's borrowing, lending and document delivery needs through a single, Windows-based interface. ILLiad also keeps statistics on interlibrary activity, generating detailed reports on demand that track the workflow and keep administrators informed. Furthermore, through its copyright-management system, journal requests are monitored and copyright compliance is assured.

First time users will need to register before they make their first request. They will be asked to fill in personal information, including their Library Barcode Number, and to choose a Username and Password. Please note that articles can only be sent by email if the user has a valid USF Email Address and if the article was received from the Lending Library in electronic form.
